To take a screenshot on a Mac, use the following keyboard shortcuts:
To screenshot or capture the entire screen:
Press Command (⌘) + Shift + 3.
To screenshot or capture a selected portion of the screen:
Press Command (⌘) + Shift + 4, then click and drag to select the area you want to capture.
To capture a specific window:
Press Command (⌘) + Shift + 4, then press the Spacebar. Your cursor will change to a camera icon, and you can click on the window you want to capture.
After taking a screenshot, the screenshot (image) will be saved to your desktop by default.
