Siaha, (Mizoram) (India) Nov 17, 2022 (Marasaw.com): District Fisheries Development Office, Siaha organised a One Day Conference cum Workshop on Fish Farming under National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) today in a function held at Forest Conference Hall, MADC, Siaha at 11:00 AM.
The programme was presided over by Lalramzawnchhuaha Khawlhring, DFDO, Siaha. Shri HC. Lalmalsawma Zasai, Dy. CEM was invited to grace the function as chief guest.
Addressing the function, Shri HC. Lalmalsawma Zasai, Dy. CEM, MADC, and Board Member of Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) (Fisheries Department) said a step is being taken to install a Hatchery in a suitable place near Tipa. He also proposes to cultivate corn near the Fish Pond for self-reliance in Fish feed.
Dy. CEM asked the beneficiaries to make use of assistance provided to them by the government. He also advised the beneficiaries to work diligently.
